Yenna Savil Idea of making a gallery of my own works first appeared back in the year 2006, during a small argument with my friend. I said then, that the only gallery to which I could invite somebody, would be an Internet one, because no real place would make a vernissage of my works.

And so, from thought to though, from idea to idea and from file to file, my Gallery of Reality started to exist.

The one you are now browsing through is its fourth version. First one, was a simple website, based on tables, without any ornamental graphics or scripts and different pictures opened simply in new windows. When I'm thinking of it now, I wonder why I was so proud back in the days. But it might be largely due to a fact that it was my second website ever made in my life.
Second version of my gallery was much more advanced (as my HTML knowledge improved much), however still based on simple tables. Main changes were made in the graphics and it stopped to look so bare, compared to the previous version. A screenshot of this instance is available for viewing in the varia section.
Third version is a variation based on the previous site (now based on a css and a LightBox script for viewing the pictures). Layout changes were very little and were mainly a result of a new method of displaying the pictures. Much deeper modifications were made to the main code of the page. Tables were replaced by DIV's, menu started to be a list and much more works appeared. ALso that instance is available for viewing in the varia section.
What you can now see is the fourth version of the page and it's still using DIV's and CSS along with LightBox script. Main changes were done to the layout. Instead of old, "wooden" frames, I used simplier and much more modern look - a drafting pad with colorful bookmarks for each section.
Rating and opinions about this evolution, I leave to the visitors. All I can say is that I'm quite content about the look of the gallery, at least untill I make the fifth version.

What can I write about myself...
I'm a graduate of a Fine Arts High School in Cracow and putting aside creating art for some time I decided to took up studies in History of Art, from which I graduated in 2010. with a thesis about late-gothic mass chalices from the Lesser Poland region.
In time, my natural need to make art returned and for now I paint in oils and acrylics on different - sometimes very unusual backgrounds and also make a soutache jewelery.
I also run an Internet bookstore and from time to time make websites.
I like to fill the overwhelming silence with heavier and a little lighter music from the Metal and Rock genres which I further complete with musicals and film scores.
And finally, the more I live, learn and know, the stronger I feel bound to Cracow and I try to invite here everyone I meet.
